2009-08-05 - 12:04 a.m. I finally wrote a reply to Karen and Val, after putting the letter aside for so many months! Today went to sengkang library with ah kon! WAAA~~~ It's great to see someone coming nearby! Hee..she wants to borrow some books to help her decide whether to take Crime Fiction or not. Good good. Hope it helps. We walked around while chatting. I bought quite many stuff! First of all, ball-point pens (thanks for ah kon's popular card!). Then, Helen's hair rubberbands (thanks for ah kon's suggestion!). And went cold storage for a craving of chocolate. Lastly KFC! A bit spent too much huh..-.- But well, I've been wanting to buy the pens and hair rubberbands, I shouldn't feel too bad about buying them.XP Ah kon and I chatted alot while sitting at KFC there. Isn't it great to be able to chat freely with a friend? Imagine after school reopens it's going to seem so impossible even for a short chat, since everyone has to rush for readings! So 2 hours didn't seem enough at all! (><)/ We headed off to Pasir Ris around evening, where ah kon went home and I went look for Val. The main purpose is to pass her the letter, but as I went to her house, I was attracted by the piano again. It hasn't been on my mind for very long. Val was cooking Mee Sua with egg in the kitchen, while I started playing the piano. What other song I know beside what Phoebe had taught me - Jay Chou's An Jing opening theme. HAHA. I even forgot a part of it! oh man.-.- Luckily Val helped me. Her music sense is so good. Then, I started flipping one of the books on her piano, and I saw a book that has songs which some of them I am familiar with. I saw the song "The More We Get Together", so I decided to give it a try. I tried figuring it out myself, but I guess it sounded too weird so Val came by and suggested I should have played the wrong key. So I learnt Treble Clef (the nice music symbol) and Bass Clef (the opposite C with 2 dots). I researched a bit, so Treble Clef is usually for right hand where the sounding notes are higher, and then Bass Clef is usually for left hand where the sounding notes are lower. Val said Treble Clef's centre line is B note, while Bass Clef's centre line is D note. Cool. Learnt new stuff.:) So I re-adjusted my fingerings and tried again. I practised for one hour plus, and I ended off going home with the song ringing in my head non-stop. Thanks Val for guiding me! :) I hope I don't forget what I learnt. Sometimes when desire gets satisfied, the mind automatically wants more. Yes, after playing the piano, I want to buy a piano again! (><)/ But well, no extra money. I think, I shall make it a future dream: To have enough extra money in the future to buy a piano and learn it myself (that is if I can handle)! I predict my future job won't be too interesting for me (HAHA) so I shall find something entertaining to do. If only NUS FASS has a piano somewhere..But well. Ok, this should be it. Oh no, makes me feel like learning harmonica again! I believe I am somewhat a wind instrument player ever since I played Zhong Yin Sheng in CO, though I'd love to learn the piano more. But if the practice time is still on Friday night, I seriously have doubts joining. T_T Suddenly so many exciting things pop up just before school reopening in less than a week's time! :o
